Siemens has developed deep expertise in next generation of breakthroughs for CTC diagnostics and has developed technology providing meaningful patients results with the goal to better support the Oncology Clinical Specialties product group by offering diagnostic systems, and companion diagnostic with imaging and data integration services. Close clinical collaboration and mutual partnerships to test clinical outcomes is viewed as a key step in providing a meaningful basis for CTC usage in mainstream diagnostic laboratories. The Strategic Innovation staff will work directly with collaborators on selected work packages and support to the consortium partners for the deployment and integration of Siemens technologies for cell filtration and molecular characterization at selected partners sites to carry out the clinical trials of the project.
