ANGLE is a UK and US based medical diagnostics company. ANGLE has developed the Parsortix CTC capture and harvest system for the enrichment of circulating tumor cells from blood. The system captures CTCs on the basis of their larger size and lower compressibility than other blood components. This approach avoids a bias that can be introduced when cells are captured on the basis of antigen expression. Importantly, the system can deliver highly enriched and viable CTCs in solution, ready to be used for a range of downstream molecular and functional analysis.
